iVoomi Launches Electric Scooter S1 Lite, Up to 85 km Range

Electric two-wheeler maker iVoomi has launched a new electric scooter S1 Lite. It is available in two battery options. The price of its variant with Graphene ion battery pack is Rs 54,999 and the Lithium ion battery pack is Rs 64,999 (ex-showroom). Booking for this has started.

This electric scooter ERW 1 grade chassis has been used to increase the strength. Its ground clearance is 170 mm. It has a boot space of around 18 liters. S1 Lite has a USB port for mobile charging and a speedometer with LED display. A lightweight charger will be provided with it. Its battery pack can be removed. The top speed of the Graphene ion battery pack variant of this electric scooter is around 45 kmph and that of the Lithium ion battery pack variant is around 55 kmph. The Graphene ion battery pack variant of S1 Lite can be charged up to 50 percent in about three hours and the Lithium ion battery variant can be charged 50 percent in about 1.5 hours.

iVoomi says that the company’s mission is to offer a range of products with affordability, innovation and efficiency to meet the various needs of customers. In the market of electric two-wheelers Ola Electric has the highest share. The company’s sales in May grew by more than six percent to 37,191 units. In the same month last year, the company sold more than 35,000 units. Ola Electric’s new S1 X range has contributed significantly to the sales and its market share has increased to 49 percent.

The prices of Ola Electric’s S1 X range range between Rs 74,999 and Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom). The S1 X is available in 2 kW, 3 kW and 4 kW battery options. Its 2 kW battery variant has a certified range of about 91 km on a single charge. It takes about 7.4 hours to charge its battery. It can reach a speed of 0-40 kmph in about 4.1 seconds. Its top speed is around 85 kmph.
