Spacewalk Chinese astronauts installed shielding on Tiangong station Watch Video

Chinese scientists continue to space They are proving themselves in the space. China has done a great job to protect its space station, Tiangong, which has been in operation for the last one year. It has installed a kind of shield outside its space station, which will protect the space station from damage caused by debris spread in space. On July 3, two Chinese astronauts worked outside the Tiangong station for about 6 and a half hours. Its video has also surfaced.

According to reports, astronauts Ye Guangfu and Li Kang set up this protection. Their colleague Li Guangsu helped in the operation by staying inside the space station. All three astronauts are part of the Shenzhou 18 mission.

The main task of the July 3 mission was to install a protection on the laboratory outside the space station so that it could be protected from damage by space debris. According to Chinese state broadcaster CCTV, safety instruments were installed in many instruments installed outside the space stations such as cables and pipelines. By doing this, the space station can be kept safe for a long time and there will be fewer problems in its operation.

Earlier in May, ‘Ye Guangfu’ and ‘Li Guangsu’ worked for about 8.5 hours outside the Tiangong station on May 28. During that spacewalk, ‘Ye’ and ‘Li’ installed a device to protect the space station from space debris. Its name is – space debris protection device. The astronauts also checked other instruments present there.

Noteworthy That a few months ago, space debris had damaged the solar arrays of the Tiangong Space Station and partially disrupted the power supply.

China’s space station is at an altitude of 340 to 450 kilometers from the Earth. In the year 2021, for the first time, a team of astronauts reached the Tiangong Space Station, who spent 90 days there. Then the first part of the space station was completed. The second and third units of the space station were launched last year and this year.
