Apple could Provide iPhone 16 Series Batteries With Stainless Steel Case

American devices maker Apple’s iPhone 16 series may be launched soon. Some leaks have revealed information about this series. It may include iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The battery capacity of these smartphones may be better than the iPhone 15 series introduced last year.

Supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that Apple has prepared to increase the energy density of the battery in the iPhone 16 series. This will make the battery of these smartphones last longer. The battery in these can be in a stainless steel case. This will also help the company to comply with the European Union’s rule of replaceable batteries in smartphones. Kuo said that the stainless steel casing for the iPhone battery will provide up to 10 percent more cell density along with meeting the safety requirements.

Earlier, Kuo had said that the stainless steel casing would make it easier to replace the battery in the upcoming iPhones. This will make it easier for Apple to comply with the European Union rules. Sunway may supply stainless steel battery casings for the iPhone 16 series. The size of the iPhone 16 Pro Max is likely to be 163.02 x 77.58 x 8.26 mm and weigh around 225 grams.
